The N'DIGO Magapaper interviewed Dr. Danielle Harth to highlight her work and her future. Read the article HERE.
The "2 Samuel 22: The Rescue of David" painting by Dr. Danielle Harth was referenced in Thomas Griffin's books "The Art of Reciting Scripture" and "The Art of Leading Scripture Recitations" about the process, artisty, and impact of reciting scripture from the Bible.
"The Rescue of David" oil painting was conceived from a visceral vision Danielle experienced while reading 2 Samuel 22: 1-22 across multiple Biblical translations (King James Version, The Message Bible, The Amplified Bible) where David shares a vivid song of thanks to the Lord for supernaturally delivering him from death by Saul's army:
There are many ways to engage with the principles, history, stories, and interpretations of the Bible. Visualizing scripture is just one way to interact with the Bible. Imagine the impact of applying the content of scripture to inspire solutions for the everyday matters of your life. As Ecclesiastes 1:9 (NLT) states, "History merely repeats itself. It has all been done before. Nothing under the sun is truly new."
Danielle recreated her "2 Samuel 22: The Rescue of David" painting nearly 10 years later.

"2 Samuel 22: The Rescue of David (Part II)"
By: Danielle Harth
Oil on canvas
The Lord delivered David out of the hands of his enemies in a way that reached my core because the Lord has been a gracious refuge in all matters of my life in the same way. This painting challenged me because it is an evolution of the 2 Samuel 22 painting that I created 8 years ago. I am the same but different from how I was 8 years ago, as we all are. God carried me through this creative process, I persevered, and here it is. I am grateful to share my interpretation of 2 Samuel 22 for the glory of the Lord [my rock, my savior, my shield, the horn of my salvation, my high tower, my refuge, my savior]. Thank you to the wonderfully kind and patient Danielle Harth Fine Art collector! I hope that this painting brings great joy and memories to their home and family for a lifetime.
I hope this imagery encourages you to reflect on the message within 2 Samuel 22 of the Bible. Do not lose your focus. Persevere. This time that we are experiencing in this world is for a purpose. Do not let anything break your spirit. I personally know that God is always faithful, just as He was with David, and there is a way out of every discouraging situation.
On July 19th and July 20th, Danielle Harth Fine Art will be exhibiting and selling brand new oil paintings at the "Stripped, But Unbreakable" Women's Conference at the Lighthouse Church of All Nations (4501 W. 127th St., Alsip, IL 60803).
The doors open tonight (Friday) at 6:30pm. On Saturday, the event begins at 9:00am.
Now is the time to get an original Danielle Harth oil painting.
We look forward to seeing you there!
